Cloud Solutions Architect (Bid role starting in 8-10 weeks) TS/SCI w/ FS Poly

Work Requirements

• Aid in the A&A process for all systems in the Sponsor's portfolio, across all network fabrics, for highly sensitive, co-mingled data.
• Respond to Computer Network Attacks (CNAs), malicious code incidents, data spills, and other cyber incidents on Sponsor systems and networks.
• Track Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) to closure, including regular reporting.
• Understand and articulate policy engine rules relevant to the Sponsor's portfolio.
• Serve as a Point of Contact (POC) for IT operations.
• Participate in a Sponsor working group dealing with extremely sensitive data.
• Track and optimize cloud costs, including developing cost models for IC and DoW partners.
• Support the Sponsor's technical forums and review boards.
• Review and provide findings on proposed technical solutions and architectures.
• Research and provide whitepapers on potential solutions to the Sponsor's technical needs.
• Evaluate Cloud Service Provider offerings for use with highly sensitive data.
• Have expertise on encryption techniques and products, and articulate the best option for a problem set.
• Be the focal point for cyber security vulnerabilities.
• Have an in-depth technical understanding of the Sponsor's tools and assist external partners with adoption and use.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems that handle extremely sensitive data.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems on multiple network fabrics.
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud Service Providers (CSP) offerings, specifically AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing cloud hosted systems for cost and performance efficiencies.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems used globally.
• Demonstrated experience with hybrid cloud architectures.
• Demonstrated experience designing or maintaining on-prem architectures.

Highly Desired Skills And Demonstrated Experience

• Demonstrated experience on Service of Common Concern (SoCC) programs.
• Demonstrated experience designing and standardizing DevOps processes.
• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's suite of tools.
• Demonstrated experience supporting IC and DoW programs.
• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's system accreditation suite of tools.
