About the role
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Solutions Architect to support secure cloud modernization, system accreditation, and enterprise mission capability delivery. You will help transition data, analytics, and AI capabilities from experimental environments into operational mission systems while designing resilient cloud and hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, and government cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, and government cloud environments.
- Architect cloud networking, identity and access management, and segmentation capabilities while optimizing performance and cost efficiency.
- Design and implement data-centric architectures, including data pipelines, data fabrics, and environments that support AI/ML operationalization.
- Develop architectures capable of operating in degraded, denied, intermittent, and limited (D-DIL) environments to support distributed mission operations.
- Support the Sponsor’s system accreditation and authorization processes, including creating Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation and RMF/ATO artifacts.
- Implement Zero Trust principles across identity, device, application, and data layers to ensure architectures comply with ICD 503 and NIST requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and mission stakeholders to translate operational requirements into implementable architecture solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Cloud Architecture or Information Systems Security.
- Significant experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud and hybrid environments in AWS, Azure, or similar government cloud platforms.
- Significant experience navigating the Sponsor's accreditation process and ICD 503 requirements, especially as it relates to creating Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible) and supporting DevSecOps practices through CI/CD pipelines.
