Cloud Software Engineer II

About the role

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team! Specifically, we are looking for a Cloud Software Engineer (Skill Level 2) to build distributed applications and RESTful services in Java, C or C++ against large-scale data in Hadoop, HDFS and Accumulo.

Responsibilities

• Build distributed applications and RESTful services in Java, C or C++ against large-scale data in Hadoop, HDFS and Accumulo.

Requirements

• Within the last seven (7) years, a minimum of five (5) years experience programming with at least two (2) of the following languages: Java, C and/or C++
• Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years of experience designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment
• Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as HBase, CloudBase/Accumulo and/or Big Table
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience with Map/Reduce and/or Hadoop, Hive and/or Pig
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1)
