Cloud Security Specialist

About the role

This role is for a Specialist Director, Cloud Security responsible for leading cloud security governance in AWS and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing security posture, risk remediation, compliance, and continuous monitoring programs.
• Driving enterprise cloud asset and firewall governance, ensuring policy compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborating with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to prioritize and address security risks, and developing security metrics and dashboards for executive reporting.
• Setting strategic direction for secure cloud and AI adoption by establishing security frameworks, policies, and guardrails, partnering with various teams to embed security into platform strategies and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Delivering Cyber Managed Services, ensuring quality across multiple engagements, and coordinating incident and change management processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years in cybersecurity with leadership experience in cloud security, governance, or risk management within complex enterprise settings.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, CSPM/CNAPP platforms, IAM, firewall governance, and enterprise risk frameworks.
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive risk reduction are essential.
• Travel may be required; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
