Cloud Security Specialist

About the role

The position provides strategic leadership in cloud security governance across AWS and Azure environments. It oversees the organization’s security posture, risk remediation, and compliance, while defining security KPIs and reporting for executive stakeholders. The role also sets security baselines and policies to enable secure adoption of cloud and AI technologies, partnering with cross‑functional teams to embed security into enterprise initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise cloud asset governance for AWS and Azure.
• Lead remediation efforts and drive risk‑based security programs.
• Define, track, and report security KPIs to executive leadership.
• Establish security baselines, policies, and controls for cloud and AI workloads.
• Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to embed security into initiatives.
• Oversee Cyber Managed Services delivery, ensuring quality through collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Manage operational governance, incident response, change management, and continuous improvement processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of cybersecurity experience focused on cloud security, governance, or risk management in complex enterprise settings.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platforms.
• Proven track record leading risk‑based security programs and remediation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder influence and communication skills, capable of driving risk reduction at the executive level.
• Technical expertise sufficient to design and enforce security baselines and policies.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel as needed.
