Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Automation Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-driven automation and agent-based systems for cloud and information security operations. This role focuses on developing production-grade services that ingest, analyze, and act on security data across cloud environments and security platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong Python engineering skills, deep cloud experience, and a practical understanding of security operations to deliver scalable, reliable automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud security automation and AI agents using Python and Terraform.
- Build and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines from security platforms, including:
- Cloud security posture and configuration tools (e.g., Wiz).
- Endpoint and threat detection platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike).
- SOC tools, alerting systems, and security event sources.
- Implement agent workflows using Azure Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Claude Agent SDK, Claude Code, and Agent Core.
- Integrate automation and agents into an Agent365 control plane.
- Develop logic to support vulnerability detection, prioritization, and remediation workflows.
- Deploy, scale, and monitor automation services using AWS-native services.
- Integrate and process security data from Microsoft Azure environments as required.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable Python code suitable for production environments.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools responsibly within established SDLC and security best practices.
- Collaborate with security, platform, and product teams to translate security requirements into automated solutions.
- Design, deploy, and integrate MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to provide secure, structured access to external tools, APIs, and security systems.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including deploying and operating backend services.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts, such as:
- Vulnerability management.
- Cloud security posture management (CSPM).
- Threat detection and incident response.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and data collectors and MCP services.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including:
- Version control (Git)
- Code reviews
- Testing and CI/CD
- Secure coding practices
Education
Bachelor's Degree is required for this position.
Pay
$90 - $95/hour W2
