About the role
As a Cloud Security Architect at Bigbear.ai, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles and technologies, as well as strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams.Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Conduct security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure security practices are integrated into software development lifecycle processes.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Stay current with emerging threats and best practices in cloud security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture and management.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- CISSP certification or equivalent experience in cybersecurity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of security professionals.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
