Cloud Platform Engineer We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join an enterprise technology team supporting large-scale Azure cloud infrastructure and data analytics platforms. This is an ongoing opportunity focused on building secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code. Location: Charlotte, NC; Plano, TX; or Jersey City, NJ Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week Duration: 12+ months Employment: W2 only **NO RELOCATION ALLOWED** **NO C2C OR SPONSORSHIP CANDIDATES ** **W2 ONLY** Responsibilities: Build and automate enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure using Terraform and IaCDesign and develop Azure landing zones and foundational cloud platform servicesAutomate cloud provisioning, IAM, networking, security policies, and observabilityDevelop CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud data and analytics platformsBuild resilient, scalable infrastructure with a focus on security and FinOpsDevelop cloud service catalogs for application and DevOps teamsPartner with Information Security and infrastructure teams to implement secure cloud solutionsTranslate business and technical requirements into cloud architecture standards, blueprints, and playbooksWork within an Agile environment to deliver cloud platform initiativesRequired Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in enterprise-scale cloud environmentsStrong hands-on Azure experience4+ years of Terraform experience developing configurations and modulesExperience building IaaS, PaaS, and IaC solutionsStrong understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, landing zones, monitoring, and loggingExperience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration-as-code, or policy-as-codeStrong Python or other infrastructure automation experienceExperience with Azure data and analytics servicesAgile/Scrum experienceNice to Have: Azure DatabricksMicrosoft SynapseAzure Data Factory, Data Lake, Microsoft Purview, or Power BIPlatform engineering experienceLinux/UNIX administrationFinancial services experienceExperience with cloud security, networking, and infrastructure teams
