Cloud Platform Engineer

About the Role

Cloud Platform Engineer responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining multi‑cloud infrastructure using infrastructure‑as‑code and DevSecOps practices. The position supports federal IT programs and requires the ability to work remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage cloud landing zones across Azure, AWS, and GCP with automation and security controls.
• Implement IaC templates, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions for environment provisioning and auditing.
• Build system integrations via APIs, SDKs, and event streams with proper secrets management.
• Manage Azure Virtual Desktop and DNS‑as‑code for secure remote access and platform services.
• Integrate logs, alerts, and risk signals into monitoring tools, perform security reviews, and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce Zero Trust policies and maintain documentation for operational continuity.
• Resolve complex cloud platform issues and support federal health agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years in cloud engineering.
• 3+ years deploying cloud landing zones in a production environment.
• 2+ years using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Experience supporting federal health agencies and working within U.S. government regulations.
• Preferred: experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, security standards (NIST, FedRAMP), certifications, and DevSecOps practices.
