Cloud Operations Engineer – Production Operation

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to support the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of Sage Intacct services, including AI-driven onboarding and data migration workflows introduced through Doyen AI.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production cloud environments to ensure high availability and reliability
• Respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotations, driving rapid resolution and root cause analysis
• Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across services
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code
• Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and system resilience
• Support scaling and operationalization of AI-driven workflows (e.g., data migration, onboarding pipelines)

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Strong background in systems operations, monitoring, and incident management
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems
