About the role

The Cloud & Network Security Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the security architecture and engineering teams within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cloud and network security strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies, and incorporate these into the organization's security framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cloud environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing security projects and teams.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Pay

Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually.
