  • Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, Docker, and cloud-native platforms
  • Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Go, C#, or Python
  • Strong knowledge of API design, asynchronous messaging, event streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar), and distributed application architecture
  • Experience designing and operating highly available, latency-sensitive production systems at enterprise scale
  • Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or Bicep
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and technical mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and platform engineering capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Envoy, or Consul Connect
  • Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux
  • Experience with FinOps, cloud governance, and enterprise cloud cost optimization
  • Public speaking, open-source leadership, published technical content, or conference presentations
