Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Azure-based infrastructure
• Configure virtual machines, networking, and storage solutions
• Build scalable and reliable environments
• Maintain system performance and reliability
• Ensure high availability and system stability
• Plan for increased usage and system demand
• Optimize resource allocation
• Implement security and configuration management
• Support applications running in the cloud
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize performance
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems
• Respond to infrastructure-related issues
• Monitor cloud usage and costs
• Identify and introduce new tools and best practices

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Cloud infrastructure Systems engineering
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of Cloud architecture and system performance
• PREFERRED: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• PREFERRED: Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
• PREFERRED: Experience in remote teams
