About the role

As a cloud infrastructure architect, you will design, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components for applications and solutions. You will work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to support your clients' modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components for applications and solutions
  • Create and manage container apps using DevOps practices
  • Use products like Kubernetes to support modernization efforts
  • Collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS
  • Work within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps
  • Partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions
  • Explore different ways of solving clients' problems in AWS development labs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience architecting on-premises and cloud solutions for intelligence systems
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and debugging cloud solution components for applications and solutions
  • Experience documenting systems in Visio and/or Cameo
  • Experience drafting policy and guidance for cloud maintenance and sustainment
  • Ability to communicate with end-users and engineers to ensure that new models are in line with architectural standards

Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
  • AWS Associate level Certification

Skills

  • Experience supporting DoD clients
  • Experience transforming legacy weapon systems
  • Knowledge of AF DCGS
  • AWS Cloud DevOps Certification

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
