AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal development teams and external suppliers to deliver new servers with industry leading performance and quality
  • Drive execution in defining and delivering new products and services
  • Lead the integration and delivery of servers, support the development of automated monitoring, and failure analysis services to operate, debug, and scale our servers
  • Work closely with other AWS software teams to tailor and operate servers solutions for the AWS environment
  • Support launching our servers into production and operating our fleet of servers

Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis
  • Experience with server, storage, networking, or large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or experience delivering products to volume production
  • 5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
  • Experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting, or experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby and/or PHP) and experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Expertise in product development disciplines such as, thermal, mechanical, power, FW/SW, reliability, and sustaining
  • Experience with hands on debug of hardware systems such as with analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. USA, CO, Denver - 159,200.00 - 215,300.00 USD annually.
