About the role
The Cloud FinOps Architect Lead is responsible for driving financial optimization strategies within cloud environments. This role involves designing and implementing cost management solutions, optimizing resource usage, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives
- Monitor and analyze cloud costs to identify areas for improvement
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and training to team members on financial best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud computing and financial management
- Proven track record of successful cost optimization projects
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
- Experience with financial modeling and budgeting
- Knowledge of cloud cost management tools and services
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis

- Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually
