Cloud Engineering Intern

About the role

A hands-on summer internship for CS/CE students passionate about cloud infrastructure. You will contribute to real client deliverables under the mentorship of senior architects.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with infrastructure-as-code development and testing
• Research and prototype new AWS service integrations and automation opportunities
• Contribute to internal tooling and the Skygate Advisors knowledge base
• Shadow client architecture reviews and contribute to documentation
• Complete 2–3 structured learning projects with formal presentations at end of internship

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Foundational AWS knowledge — AWS Cloud Practitioner certification preferred or in progress
• Programming proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with Linux, networking fundamentals, and Git
• Strong written communication skills — you will document your work
• Genuine enthusiasm for cloud technology and distributed systems
