About The Role

The Fujifilm Cloud Services Senior Cloud Engineer is a pivotal technical leader responsible for overseeing and supporting the cloud infrastructure within Fujifilm’s environment. This role involves leading projects, guiding teams, and providing expert advice to ensure the deployment, maintenance, and security of highly available systems supporting Synapse Cloud Services, Disaster Recovery, and Archiving services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Windows Server operating systems, with a focus on cloud environments.
• Proven experience as a primary technical resource in AWS cloud projects supporting Windows workloads.
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud architecture, security, and compliance best practices.
• Experience supporting web-based applications in cloud environments.
• Intermediate knowledge of VMWare, Active Directory, storage, and data center infrastructure management.
• Experience with data migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and interdependencies efficiently.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and occasional travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server EC2 infrastructure hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.
• Design, implement, and optimize cloud architecture solutions for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement security best practices, including patch management, access controls, encryption, and network security for Windows-based workloads.
• Respond to and troubleshoot Windows Server-related incidents within AWS, minimizing downtime and service disruption.
• Develop and maintain robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, network, and security teams to integrate Windows servers into the broader cloud environment seamlessly.
• Support customer-hosted and disaster recovery projects, providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Support and maintain large-scale compute and storage environments, ensuring operational excellence.
• Assist in data migration initiatives from on-premise to cloud environments, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing aligned with ITIL4 standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support 24/7 data center operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards, including FDA and ISO 13485.
