About the role

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of Cipher Tech Solutions clients. This includes managing cloud environments, ensuring compliance with security policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architectures that are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Manage cloud environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with clients and other departments to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
• Participate in regular team meetings and provide status updates on ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Mid to SME level Cloud Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in cloud computing.
• Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently holds a US government Secret or higher security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Skills

• Proficiency in cloud management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies and containerization.
• Experience with cloud-native applications and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security concepts.
