About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Integration Engineer to support the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and resource groups to support cloud solutions.
  • Support hybrid identity environments, ensuring synchronization and access management across on-premises and cloud systems using Azure AD/Entra ID and AD Connect.
  • Implement identity-driven security measures utilizing MFA, SSO, RBAC, and role-based access controls to safeguard system interactions.
  • Apply cloud security best practices to ensure governance, data protection, and compliance across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Support the integration of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS resources within Azure commercial, GCC, and GCC-High environments.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to design, test, and deploy integrated cloud solutions.
  • Automate documentation, workflows, and support processes using Azure tools, scripting, and Power Platform automation.
  • Evaluate emerging Azure technologies and SaaS solutions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience supporting cloud infrastructure and integrations.
  • Proficiency with Azure Administration Portal, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and ARM templates.
  • Hands-on experience managing Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and resource groups.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid identity solutions such as AD Connect.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 GCC and GCC-High environments.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
  • U.S. citizenship or U.S. person status with at least three years of residence in the United States.
  • Current Public Trust clearance preferred.
  • Local to the DC Metro area preferred for onsite support if required.
