Essential Duties
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for Azure DevSecOps platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments.
- Design, implement, and govern end-to-end CI/CD and DevSecOps pipeline architectures aligned to enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
- Embed security controls, scanning, and policy-as-code across infrastructure, application, and data delivery pipelines.
- Lead automation of Azure infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code frameworks to support enterprise-scale deployments.
- Build, design, and support containerized platforms and orchestration solutions for cloud-native and hybrid workloads.
- Design and maintain Azure environments supporting production systems, modernization initiatives, and on-premises migrations.
- Partner with application, data, and AI teams to enable secure delivery of enterprise applications, database-backed systems, and AI workloads.
- Establish and maintain shared CI/CD components, frameworks, and reusable modules to accelerate delivery consistency.
- Define and enforce DevSecOps best practices, standards, and governance models across delivery teams.
- Enable Agile delivery through DevSecOps tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
- Design Azure environments for AI workloads, including private networking and restricted egress designs.
- Mentor engineers and act as a subject-matter expert in DevSecOps, Azure architecture, and security automation.
Experience & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or enterprise software delivery.
- Advanced experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines across build, test, security, and deployment stages.
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including networking, identity, security, and platform services.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
- Experience designing and operating container platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Deep knowledge of application and cloud security practices, including SAST, DAST, and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale application, data, and AI workloads in Azure environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Foundry (formerly Azure AI Studio) Agent Service.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications preferred (AZ-400, AZ-500, AZ-204, AI-200, or SC-500).
