Responsibilities
- Managing Azure Solutions
- Troubleshooting Issues
- Configuring Services
- Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
- Administer all aspects of M365 enterprise applications such as Microsoft Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues
- Identifying technical requirements
- Managing project timelines
- Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
- Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
- Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures
- Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts
- Implementing security and compliance policies
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and licensing
- Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Responsible for Patch Management/Vulnerability Remediation to include testing patches, deploying updates, monitoring compliance and vulnerability remediation
- Active Directory and Microsoft Entra Management
- Change Management
- Helpdesk Support technical assistance, troubleshooting, and user support
- Asset Management including inventory management, budgeting, vendor coordination as well as reporting and auditing
- Network Administration: Monitoring, maintaining and resolving network performance, availability and security issues. Ensuring network devices are up to date with OS versions, firmware updates, and equipment lifecycle
- Other duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three (3) years experience or Eight (8) years experience and HS Diploma
- Certifications preferred: Comp TIA Network +, Comp TIA Security +, Microsoft AZ-104, Microsoft AZ-140, Microsoft AZ-305, Microsoft AZ-700, Microsoft AZ-900
Qualifications
- Cloud Architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
- Powershell and Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks
- Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects
- Strong ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance
Pay
Compensation based on experience, expected salary range to start at $120,000
