Cloud Engineer
About the role
The Cloud Engineer will deploy, configure, and sustain a CloudOps platform within classified cloud environments. The role involves integrating the platform across AWS and/or Azure classified regions in alignment with federal compliance standards, leading platform buildout and lifecycle management activities, and ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Securely integrate the platform across AWS and/or Azure classified regions in alignment with federal compliance standards.
- Lead platform buildout and lifecycle management activities, including deployment, upgrades, patching, and Tier 3 escalation support.
- Manage underlying infrastructure components such as Kubernetes, Helm, containerized services, associated databases, governance controls, policy enforcement, and FinOps controls.
- Implement governance controls, policy enforcement mechanisms, and FinOps controls aligned to mission requirements.
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG frameworks and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) status in coordination with Government Authorizing Officials.
- Collaborate with the Delivery Manager to align technical execution with mission priorities while maintaining platform stability, security, and scalability.

- Possess the ability to implement governance controls, policy enforcement mechanisms, and FinOps controls aligned to mission requirements.
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and DoD SRG frameworks and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) status in coordination with Government Authorizing Officials.
- Collaborate effectively with program leadership and stakeholders to align technical execution with mission priorities while maintaining platform stability, security, and scalability.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
