Cloud Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Design, deploy, and manage virtual cloud infrastructures across hybrid environments in Microsoft Azure Cloud. Automate deployments and configurations using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and ARM/BICEP. Provision, maintain, and scale cloud resources in Microsoft Azure in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Monitor cloud resource utilization and troubleshoot system, application, and infrastructure issues. Ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and operational standards within a DevSecOps framework. Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes. What You'll Need US Citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance (and ability to obtain SCI). Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or Master's with 2+ years (additional experience accepted in lieu of degree). DoD 8140 Intermediate certification (Security+ CE or equivalent). Intermediate Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-104) or similar from other Cloud Service Providers. Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack) and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI). Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
