Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer for a 5-month contract to work on an AWS Cloud Migration project, specifically migrating legacy .NET components. This role can be based in multiple locations, including Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Hopkins, MN; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; New York, NY; Irving, TX; Charlotte, NC; or Milwaukee, WI, with the option for hybrid or remote work.

Responsibilities

• Creating infrastructure in Azure CSP using Terraform and Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Creating Infrastructure as Code (IAC) pipelines using Git Lab runners
• Working with different application teams to understand adhoc requirements, troubleshoot existing platform-related issues, and implement changes
• Converting ADO pipelines into Terraform IAC pipelines
• Troubleshooting issues related to Azure Data Factory, VNETs, Route tables, NSG, Purview, Azure Storage, Application Contexts, AKV, and Subscriptions
• Building custom VM images using Packer

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of resources in Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, VNETs, Route tables, NSG, Purview, Azure Storage, Application Contexts, AKV, and Subscriptions
• Experience with Terraform, ADO, and Git Lab runners
• Ability to work with different application teams to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in converting ADO pipelines into Terraform IAC pipelines
• Experience building custom VM images using Packer
