Cloud Engineer 3

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Architect 2 to lead enterprise integration initiatives for a leading global manufacturing organization in Peoria, IL. This role will be responsible for gathering business and technical requirements, designing integration architectures, creating technical documentation, overseeing implementation efforts, and ensuring successful deployment of enterprise solutions. The position has a strong focus on Coupa-related integrations, API and ETL architectures, and cloud-based enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business and technical requirements from stakeholders
• Design enterprise integration architectures supporting Coupa and related applications
• Create architecture diagrams and technical design documentation
• Define and support API-based and ETL-based integration solutions
• Work closely with developers to implement technical solutions
• Oversee testing activities and validate deployment results
• Evaluate system limitations and recommend architectural improvements
• Collaborate with security, business, and enterprise architecture teams
• Conduct technology evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives
• Support production implementations and issue resolution
• Use data-driven analysis to support architectural recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 2+ years of experience in Application Development, Application Support, or Architecture
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience creating architecture diagrams and technical design documentation
• Experience implementing API integration solutions
• Experience implementing ETL integration solutions
• Experience with SaaS and cloud-based technologies
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Snowflake experience
• SnapLogic experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Python experience
• AI or Generative AI exposure
• GitHub or Azure DevOps experience
• Enterprise integration architecture experience

Work Environment

• Fully onsite in Peoria, IL – 5 days per week in office (no exceptions)
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Highly collaborative enterprise IT environment
