Cloud Development Engineer
CACI is seeking a Cloud Engineer (Developer) to support the Software Assurance (SwA) Team. This role bridges enterprise web application development, cloud sustainment, and mission-critical security infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern Java applications
- Orchestrate containerized environments in Azure
- Facilitate technical enablement through presentations and demonstrations
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in the Azure ecosystem: development, cloud deployment, and long-term sustainment
- Deployment experience across RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows environments
- Enterprise Java development alongside web application development and deployment
- Hands-on experience with Quarkus, Jakarta EE, or other relevant frameworks (e.g., Spring)
- Experience with container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Implementation of commercial enterprise authentication and SaaS orchestration
- Ability to perform technical trainings and demonstrations to small and large audiences
- Must be able to support contractor travel up to 10% of the calendar year (Continental US)
Nice-to-Have Expertise
- Multi-cloud: AWS development and deployment
- Application security: software assurance and source code analysis
- Prior DoD experience (in any field) and familiarity with Army/DoD Enterprise Authentication
- Technical support and customer support experience

Pay
The proposed salary range for this position is $90,300 - $189,600 USD. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
