Cloud Developer (Senior) with Security Clearance

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance DevOps pipelines using GitLab runners to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows
• Mature and expand Terraform to manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Build, maintain, and optimize Docker containers across a growing set of services
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters using EKS or equivalent platforms
• Work directly with core system components such as search engines, databases, and integrated middleware
• Automate everything possible to reduce manual effort and improve reliability
• Support integration across cross-domain systems in a unique mission environment
• Join collaborative development, testing, and troubleshooting sessions across the engineering team

Desired Skill Sets

• Experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms), with AWS strongly preferred
• Scripting skills with bash, python, and yaml tools preferred
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn integration across the full software development stack—pipelines, infrastructure, applications, and tooling

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-9 years of relevant DevOps, cloud engineering, or full-stack infrastructure experience
• Ability to work full-time, 100% onsite, at a Vienna, VA government site (no remote available)
