Cloud Data Storage / Data Engineer - Charlotte, NC

About the role

This position supports the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud-based data platforms for a Cyber Threat Operations Center. The role combines hands-on engineering with subject matter specialization in cloud data storage, data modeling, and data structure design to enable effective cyber threat detection, analytics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Engineering.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables.
• Leverage an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Design secure, scalable, high-performance cloud data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and hybrid architectures.
• Provide strategic guidance to optimize data structures for analytics, reporting, and application performance.

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of Cloud Data Storage and Data Engineering experience across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and AWS environments.
• Technical Skills: Solid communication skills.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include experience with SQL Server, PowerPoint, Application Management, Everforth Apex, and Apex.
