About the role

The Cloud Architecture Lead is the senior authority responsible for defining, governing, and advancing the company’s end-to-end cloud strategy across AWS and Azure. This role translates enterprise and domain strategies into secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architecture outcomes that deliver measurable in-year savings, drive multiyear simplification, and establish a modern cloud foundation for all business domains.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise cloud architecture strategy across AWS and Azure.
• Translate business priorities into cloud target states, reference architectures, and modernization roadmaps.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet standards for scalability, resiliency, security, and cost optimization.
• Drive adoption of cloud native services, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and automation.
• Promote high quality, secure, maintainable engineering practices across teams.
• Identify consolidation, modernization, and retirement opportunities across cloud workloads.
• Partner with Finance, Infrastructure, and Domain Architects to quantify and deliver cloud savings.
• Reduce duplication of platforms, tooling, and custom solutions across cloud environments.
• Serve as the cloud architecture authority in governance forums, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and enterprise standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 15+ years in cloud, platform, or enterprise architecture roles
• Deep expertise in AWS and Azure services, patterns, and operating models
• Proven experience driving cloud standardization, DevOps maturity, and cost optimization
• Strong executive communication and influence skills
