About the role
As a Cloud Architect with a security clearance, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the security requirements of federal agencies. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as strong knowledge of security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, and efficient
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using modern development tools and frameworks
- Ensure compliance with relevant security policies and standards
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- A current Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Proven experience in cloud architecture design and implementation
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of cloud security tools and services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
