Global Portfolio Engineering (GPE) is hiring a GPE Cloud and Edge Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud-to-edge platforms that support multiple regional and business teams. These roles will provide deep technical leadership in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, container platforms, edge-to-cloud integration, and enterprise security practices. We are looking for hands-on engineers who can standardize architecture patterns, improve reliability and security, and partner with automation engineering teams to deliver repeatable, production-ready solutions. This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate cloud-native infrastructure platforms that support distributed edge and centralized cloud workloads.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes-based runtime environments for resilient, secure, and observable operations.
• Define and enforce platform standards for networking, identity, access control, secrets management, and workload security.
• Architect and maintain CI/CD and GitOps deployment workflows for infrastructure and platform services.
• Collaborate with automation engineering teams to integrate controls, deployment pipelines, and operational guardrails.
