Clothes Sorter - Part-time

Our Brainerd Thrift Store is looking for a reliable, hardworking Clothes Sorter to help turn donated clothing into great finds for our customers while supporting our mission of helping children, youth, and families in the Chattanooga area.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated clothing to determine what can be sold and what should be discarded
• Check clothing for quality, condition, and cleanliness
• Price clothing according to store guidelines
• Hang and organize clothing for the sales floor
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Work with the thrift store team to keep donations moving efficiently

Requirements

• Reliable and dependable – showing up and being ready to work is important
• Ability to work efficiently while paying attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Positive, helpful attitude
• No previous thrift store experience required

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Bend, reach, push, pull, and move clothing and boxes
• Stand and walk for portions of the workday
• Sit for periods of time while sorting and pricing clothing

Schedule

Part‑time with flexible hours. Our store is open Monday‑Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Sunday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

Pay

$12 per hour
