Closing Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining daily maintenance and cleanliness, overseeing crew, and achieving targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness to customers.
• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals.
• Manage crew and handle inventory management.
• Ensure daily maintenance and cleanliness.
• Train new employees and manage their performance.
• Ensure food safety and exceptional customer service.
• Oversee safety and security measures.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
• A flexible schedule and the ability to work in a team setting.
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role.

Qualifications

While not specified, a high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Previous experience in a managerial role is preferred.

Skills

Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.
