Closing Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies
• Monitor safety and security measures
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager
• Meet and exceed performance targets
• Support Department goals
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance
• Train and mentor team members
• Handle food safety and internal communication
• Manage crew scheduling

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work in a dynamic workplace
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team
• At least 18 years old

Qualifications

While not specified, candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a commitment to customer service. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Skills

Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with restaurant management systems are beneficial.
