About the role
The Closing Analyst is responsible for ensuring all transactions are accurately closed and that all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify financial transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all required documentation is submitted on time
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Prepare and submit closing reports as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with financial systems and software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
