CLO Trust Reporting Analyst

Job Description

The Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) and Global Structured Finance (GSF) groups within U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services provide trustee, agency, escrow, document custody, and money market issuing services. The CLO Trust Reporting Analyst is responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting trust indentures to determine reporting requirements.
• Creating technical report specifications based on indenture language.
• Setting up payment calculations in various in-house systems.
• Receiving, mapping, and reconciling periodic collateral data.
• Performing portfolio compliance tests on selected structured fixed income deals (trade testing).
• Compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual payment and/or tax reports.
• Coordinating with operations teams to ensure correct payments are received and made.
• Conducting quality control reviews of reports to meet timeliness and accuracy standards.
• Frequent interaction with asset managers, investors, auditors, and rating agencies.

Essential Functions

The CLO Trust Reporting Analyst must have:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Basic understanding of syndicated bank loans, fixed income securities, securitization, trading, or mutual funds.
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in navigating a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Less than two years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of syndicated bank loans, fixed income securities, securitization, trading, or mutual funds.
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in navigating a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications.

Pay Range

$73,780.00 - $86,800.00
