CLM Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Contract Lifecycle Management Consultant (Remote in US OR UK) to join a growing implementation practice focused on helping enterprise clients transform and automate their contract management processes. This is a client-facing role requiring a combination of strong implementation expertise, business process analysis, stakeholder management, and hands-on configuration experience. The successful candidate will work directly with enterprise customers to design, configure, and deploy CLM solutions that solve real business challenges. Unlike many CLM roles, this position requires genuine implementation experience. We are looking for professionals who have built and configured CLM solutions from the ground up rather than simply deploying pre-existing templates or supporting established environments. What You'll Be Doin Lead and participate in client discovery sessions and requirements workshopsAnalyse existing contract processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimisationDesign, configure, and implement Contract Lifecycle Management solutionsBuild workflows, approval processes, templates, clauses, and business rulesTranslate business requirements into scalable CLM solutionsProduce process maps, workflow diagrams, and solution documentationCollaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and technical teams throughout implementation projectsSupport integrations between CLM platforms and external business systemsCreate and execute test plans, conduct system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issuesDeliver client training and knowledge transfer sessionsProvide ongoing best-practice guidance to clients throughout project delivery Essential Experience 3+ years of Contract Lifecycle Management implementation experienceProven experience implementing DocuSign CLM, SpringCM, or comparable CLM platformsExperience building CLM workflows and processes from scratchStrong understanding of CLM architecture, configuration, and administrationExperience gathering requirements and facilitating client workshopsAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExperience supporting software implementation projects in enterprise environmentsStrong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills Highly Desired DocuSign CLM implementation experienceDocuSign CLM Consultant Accreditation or equivalent certificationsExperience with Salesforce administration, configuration, or integrationExperience working with APIs, integrations, and connected enterprise systemsWorkflow modelling experience using tools such as Lucidchart, Draw.io, or VisioExperience working within legal technology, CLM, contract analytics, or document automation environments We Are Particularly Interested In Candidates Who Can Demonstrate Building CLM solutions from the ground upEnd-to-end implementation ownershipHands-on workflow design and configuration experienceStrong understanding of implementation methodologyAbility to work directly with enterprise stakeholders and executive sponsorsExperience delivering multiple CLM projects across different industries Candidates who have only worked on pre-configured environments, template deployments, or administrative support activities without significant implementation responsibility are unlikely to be the right fit for this role.
