About the role
Workplace Options is seeking a qualified EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Clinical Advisor to join our clinical team. Our clinical department delivers global counseling services, including telephonic support, clinical case management, structured telephonic counseling, resource referrals, and short-term counseling.
Responsibilities
- Provide integrated EAP services, including intake and assessment, support, triage, referral, clinical case management, and crisis intervention.
- Deliver counseling services in a responsive, efficient, ethical, and professional manner.
- Maintain client confidentiality as required by ethical standards.
- Adhere to ethical, therapeutic, and legal standards governing service delivery, as well as organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Refer clients to appropriate resources and maintain thorough clinical documentation in the computerized system for tracking clinical and work-life services.
- Conduct assessments for clients presenting diverse issues, such as substance abuse, mental health, and family problems affecting work performance.
- Perform initial assessments, crisis intervention, information and referral, and counseling services for clients. Conduct follow-up calls as needed.
- Complete additional tasks as determined by the clinical management team.
- Facilitate training, lead and participate in orientation, and develop and execute strategic activities for the organization.
Requirements
- Counselor or Psychologist with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct client contact providing counseling or mental health services (post-qualification).
- Experience conducting assessments and/or using clinical assessment tools.
- Training in mindfulness or solution-focused counseling is an advantage.
Skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English (required).
