About the Role

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors is seeking a highly motivated licensed Clinician to serve military-connected children, adults, and families. The Cohen Clinic provides a variety of services to Post-9/11 Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard, and their family members. Clinicians work closely with a multidisciplinary team, offering telehealth and in-person therapy services with a focus on time-limited and measurement-based care. The ideal candidate has a passion and experience working with children, adolescents, couples, families, and individual adults.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve a goal of 26 contact hours with clients weekly.
  • Perform and document client screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, and progress and referral information.
  • Provide therapy for individual adults and children, couples, and families, focusing on evidence-based treatments.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality mental health care.
  • Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service by prioritizing the needs of clients, veterans, and families to support the mission of empowering people to build better lives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, clinical mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy is required.
  • Independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is preferred; associate licensure may be considered with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with adults, children, couples, and families.
  • Knowledge of DSM-V diagnoses and experience in diagnosing and treatment planning.
  • Certification or documented proficiency in one or more evidence-based practices (CBT, PE, or CPT) is preferred; willingness to receive training in these practices is required.
  • Experience working with military populations and/or Veterans is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear record and daily access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined by the employer.
