Position: Clinician II

Job Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Work Setting: Crisis - Cumberland Recovery Response Center; Fayetteville, NC

Responsibilities

• Guest Care & Advocacy: Serves as the mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community agency, when applicable. Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services. Assesses the individual’s needs and provides appropriate support and referral. Provides short-and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis. Provides family education and family counseling. Facilitates recovery education courses.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion. Completes clinical documentation as required. Completes Incident Reports according to policy. Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.

Requirements

• Education/Licenses: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university. Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. State professional certification where applicable.
