About the role
The initial compensation for this position ranges from $85,050 - $104,601 per year, depending on experience, location and internal equity considerations. An additional 8% license differential is offered for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD., and select peer certifications. A 7.5% bilingual differential is also available for qualified positions.

About our Program
TBS: Supports children and youth up to 21 who are at risk to move to a higher level of care or be hospitalized due to behavioral issues or to support a transition to a lower level of care. Multiple hours of treatment per week can be provided as needed to stabilize targeted behaviors. This treatment is a coaching model that always includes the caregiver.
Job Summary
Under the general supervision, this position provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, coordination of therapeutic activities and educational programs. They lead and facilitate cross-functional teams, facilitate group supervision, and support other clinicians. They maintain audit-ready charts and participate in agency work groups and CQI activities.
Responsibilities

- Applies advanced use of assessment information in development of the treatment plan and applies information and resources to ensure quality care.
- Applies advanced skill in acquisition and application of clinically related information to effectively intervene with children and families.
- Understands and applies multi-modal approaches and perspectives to therapeutic direction.
- Provides coaching and mentoring of others in the implementation of EBPs.
- Leads problem-solving interactions and work with external customers.
- Maintains audit-ready charts and audits charts independently.
- Provides observations and feedback to supervisor in order to monitor and/or modify programs or approaches.
- Participates in the identification of team opportunities for improvement or identification of deficiencies and in the development of strategies to address or bridge gaps.
- Leads Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and project implementation.
- Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.
Qualifications

- A Master’s degree (MA/MS) in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field and three (3) or more years of relevant experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience (two years of relevant experience equals one year of education) to include: Current licensure in the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC); or associate-level registration (ASW, AMFT, APCC) with substantial clinical experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience providing behavioral health services, including work with high-acuity or diverse populations.
