Clinician I - School Base Services West
JOB SUMMARY
Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at-risk youth. The Clinician is a key member of our behavior services team. They are responsible for meeting clinical benchmarks for quality care and productivity requirements, ensuring proper care is provided in accordance with program contracts, and developing and providing direct behavioral health services to consumers. The Clinician will carry out these objectives by providing a wide variety of individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy services in line with the consumers’ specific therapeutic needs. Clinicians may provide services in a clinic setting, residential site, schools, and/or consumers’ homes dependent on the program they work at.
About the Role
The Clinician is responsible for meeting clinical benchmarks for quality care and productivity requirements, ensuring proper care is provided in accordance with program contracts, and developing and providing direct behavioral health services to consumers. Responsibilities
- Meet clinical benchmarks for quality care and productivity requirements
- Ensure proper care is provided in accordance with program contracts
- Develop and provide direct behavioral health services to consumers
- Provide a wide variety of individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy services in line with the consumers’ specific therapeutic needs
- Provide services in a clinic setting, residential site, schools, and/or consumers’ homes dependent on the program they work at
Requirements
- Education: Recent Graduate and Master’s degree required
- Must Register with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) in the State of California as MFT, MSW, APCC, or Psy. D/Ph. D for a registration number and receive number within 4 months of date of hire.
- Attend and satisfactorily complete all trainings required by the Agency, federal, state and/or local regulations.
- DMH experience preferred.
- Fully fluent in English required.
Qualifications
- Must have a personal, reliable vehicle for travel to various locations.
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Acceptable driving record as determined Agency policy.
- Proof of auto insurance meeting minimum coverage requirements.

Pay
- Starting Pay Range: $71,000 - $76,325 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)
- Starting Pay Range: $71,000 - $76,325 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)
- Starting Pay Range: $81,000 - $87,750 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)
Schedule
Regular and flexible travel between various client locations is an essential function of this position.
