Clinical Trials Training Specialist
Responsibilities
- Deliver effective training to drive expected results in both group and individual (virtual) classroom settings.
- Educate new employees on the life cycle of clinical trials, the role and responsibilities of ACM Project Managers, and current best practices.
- Cook up and maintain Study Management curriculum and training materials used during the onboarding of new Study Management employees.
- Train newly-hired Study Management employees as part of their onboarding.
- Provide ongoing feedback to Study Management leadership regarding the status of current training activities and interaction with new and existing employees.
- Provide demonstrations of system functionality as necessary.
- Participate in process improvement and new system roll-out initiatives from a workflow analysis and education perspective.
- Aid in monitoring completion of training requirements for new and existing Study Management employees.
- Monitor, track and analyze training effectiveness and make amendments to the program as needed.
- Deliver formal and individual training as needed for remedial and ongoing training as identified by Study Management leadership.
- Provide mentorship and continuous support as needed.
Requirements
- 3 years of training, instructional design or related experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; concentration in Instructional Design, Communications, or the Sciences is a plus.
- Professional training certification preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel).
- Prior experience in clinical trials preferred.
- Prior project management experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent presentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Tech-savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly
- Keen attention to detail
Qualifications
Physical Requirements: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. Benefits
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
