About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Technical Program Manager to support a high-visibility clinical trial data program for a confidential enterprise client in the technology space. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who has run clinical trial programs before - not observed or supported them - and who understands the full lifecycle of clinical trial data, from raw data capture through FDA-submittable output.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program management for a clinical trial data workstream, including planning, tracking, and delivery against milestones.
- Manage the clinical trial data lifecycle - from raw/source data through cleaning, validation, and structuring to FDA-submittable format.
- Rapidly assess current program status, identify gaps, risks, and blockers, and take direct action to resolve them.
- Partner closely with a client-side program manager as a true peer - proactively taking on workload, not waiting for delegation.
- Serve as a direct interface to the client, representing program status, risks, and priorities in client conversations without requiring a middle layer of translation or oversight.
- Manage day-to-day program tracking and ticket workflow in Asana, ensuring visibility into status, ownership, and progress across workstreams.
- Cook up across internal and vendor/technical teams to ensure data workflows, timelines, and quality standards are met. Track and report program progress, surfacing risks early with proposed solutions, not just status.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing a clinical trial program (not adjacent experience - direct, prior ownership of a clinical trial program required).
- Deep understanding of clinical trial data workflows, including raw data intake, cleaning/validation, structuring, and progression to FDA-submittable stage.
- Direct client-facing experience - proven track record interfacing directly with clients or senior stakeholders, not just internal teams.
- Asana fluency - hands-on, day-day experience managing tickets, tasks, and program tracking in Asana (not just general PM tool familiarity).
- Proven ability to operate with high autonomy - able to walk into an ambiguous or in-flight program and start contributing immediately.
- Strong program/project management fundamentals: planning, milestone tracking, risk management, resource coordination.
- Demonstrated ownership mentality - someone who has a track record of taking on problems beyond their explicit scope because it served the outcome.
- Prior experience specifically in FDA-regulated clinical trial submission processes.
- Experience working as a vendor/consulting partner embedded within a large enterprise client team.
- Hands on experience with clinical data standards (e.g., CDISC, SDTM).
Desired Qualifications
- Should have direct experience managing a clinical trial program as well as managing Software teams.
- Someone who can bridge as a program manager translating SME terms to software equivalent terms and vice versa.
Pay Range
The salary for this position is between $115,000- $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
