About the role
The Senior Manager – Clinical Science will play a crucial role in leading clinical trial activities in Mumbai. This position involves preparing study protocols, Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), and presenting proposals to regulatory committees, as well as collaborating with clinicians and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to refine clinical trial designs and ensure successful execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical trial medical science activities, including preparation of synopsis and protocols.
- Plan publication activities for clinical journals and collaborate with the statistics team for data analysis.
- Review patient eligibility and approve patients through the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system.
- Coordinate with the biostatistician to decide sample sizes and statistical analysis plans.
- Prepare risk assessment plans to address safety and operational risks in clinical studies.
- Conduct medical monitoring activities, including eligibility assessments and safety investigations.
- Train the study team on protocol-related tasks to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Interact with investigators to resolve queries related to protocols from sites and Ethics Committees.
Requirements
- MBBS + MD (Pharmacology).
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience in clinical science.
- Experience in clinical trials; desirable experience as a medical monitor or medical expert in clinical development plans.
