About the role

Central Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) seeks a Clinical Trainee or Therapist to join the Outpatient Mental Health (OPMH) Team in Monticello.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct, assist, and support clients in various therapeutic areas.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy interventions under supervision.
  • Maintain and monitor medication regimens, educate clients about medications, and report adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with community providers, employers, landlords, and families to support clients.
  • Stay updated on the mental health service system and locate resources for clients.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and other designated team activities.
  • Follow mandated reporter guidelines.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Working towards licensure as an LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT.
  • Clearance from DHS and sexual exploitation screening.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Schedule

Full Time: Monday-Friday, Day Shift. Schedules Available: Clinic Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Pay

  • Unlicensed Therapist: Target Range - $55,000-$65,000 (based on degree level, licensure & experience)
  • Licensed Therapist: Target Range - $70,000-$75,000 (based on degree level, licensure & experience)

What Will Set You Apart

  • Two years’ experience in outpatient therapy.
  • Medicare Eligible Provider.
  • SPMI, ARMS, ACT Team, TCM or community based experience.
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents aged 6+ years and older.
  • A passion to work in community-based mental health.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.
