SAFY is seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist to provide services for the Intensive Family Services (IFS) Program in Allen County, Ohio. Our mission is Preserving Families & Securing Futures. For over 35 years, we’ve helped children and families build resilience and thrive through programs like Family Preservation & Reunification, Behavioral Health, Therapeutic Foster Care, Adoption Services, and Older Youth Services.

About the role

As an IFS Clinical Therapist, you will deliver a range of moderately complex clinical services—diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, interventions, individual and family therapy—to children, adolescents, and identified adults. You’ll work with a caseload of 30–35 clients and are expected to achieve 88 hours of utilization per month.

Responsibilities

  • Make a difference in the lives of children who have experienced trauma by providing support and coaching to help them cope with emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Complete diagnostic assessments, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans based on those assessments.
  • Provide ongoing mental health and clinical services as needed or required by contract.
  • Document all services in our Electronic Record System.
  • Deliver telehealth and in-office direct services to families and children in your caseload.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a flexible schedule based on the needs of the families you serve.

Requirements

  • LSW or LPC license in Ohio (required) or license-eligible; LISW or LPCC preferred.
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, child & family studies, or counseling (required).
  • 2–3 years of experience in mental health or therapeutic intervention with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Experience with best-practice models of clinical application (preferred).

Pay

Targeted hiring range: $48,000–$70,000. Compensation is based on transferable experience, education, licensure, internal equity, and budgeted amount for the role.
