Clinical Technician 1 - Progressive Care Unit

About the Role

Inova Alexandria Hospital – Progressive Care Unit is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. This schedule for this role will be Full Time | Nights | 6:00AM – 6:30PM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays. Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Training

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM – 4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules
• On-unit shifts

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds.
