About the role

This role supports healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, monitors and communicates patient conditions, collaborates across disciplines, and provides education and advocacy for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and families; provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year acute‑care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications required for the specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrated adherence to code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Clear communication skills in English (read, write, speak, understand).

Pay

Minimum Pay Rate: $36.00 per hour

Maximum Pay Rate: $37.44 per hour
